The Beechcraft Bonanza Straight-Tail is a high-performance, single-engine general aviation aircraft developed as an evolution of the original V-tail Bonanza (Model 35). Introduced in the late 1950s, the straight-tail versions retained the Bonanza's signature speed, luxury, and advanced features but replaced the distinctive V-tail with a conventional vertical and horizontal stabilizer for improved stability, strength, and handling.
Today, the straight-tail Bonanza remains one of the longest continuously produced aircraft in history, with modern versions still rolling off Textron Aviation’s production lines nearly 80 years after the first Bonanza flew.
