The Panavia Tornado GR.1 is a twin-engine, multirole combat aircraft developed jointly by the United Kingdom, Germany, and Italy. It was designed in the 1970s as a ground-attack, low-level strike, and interdiction aircraft capable of operating in all weather conditions, including nuclear strike missions.
